Get Ready For Meringue Ecstasy

4 egg whites
l cup caster sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice or malt vinegar
2 teaspoons cornflour


Beat egg whites in small bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form

Add sugar, lemon juice (preferred) (or vinegar) and sifted corn flour and beat mixture until glossy (10 mins at least)

Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Pile meringue onto paper and shape into a large circle. Bake at 265°F or (130°C) for one and half hours or until crisp on the outside (do not open door) until it looks crisp

Turn off oven and leave pavlova to cool in the oven with door ajar.
Decorate with whipped cream and fruit of your choice
I used my own home grown Strawberries..nothing fresher
